An archaeologist at a museum scolds his small, silent dog, Shep, for supposedly removing a bone belonging to a dinosaur skeleton and orders Shep to bring the bone back, but Shep finds that the place where he buried his most recent bone has been dug up and a bulldog is walking away with the bone in his mouth. Shep chases the bulldog with intent of retrieving the bone, and so begins a battle of wits between Shep and the bulldog.

On the premise that his albums will sell better if he is dead, an aging pop-singer fakes his own death. True enough, the money rolls in, but no one can get their hands on it because of the seven year waiting period before a missing person can be declared legally dead. However, a crazed animal rights terrorist, who knows he isn't dead, is trying to kill him, because of the singer's advertisements for fried chicken restaurants. Eventually, it turns out that the singer's manager is paying the terrorist to kill him.

The story follows Frank, a lonely man, desperate to genuinely bond with women on the dating apps, who's surprising way of connecting is only ever met with negative reactions. As his app addiction deepens, his ability to truly be seen diminishes... that is until he meet's someone offline, who seems to share his unusual pursuit.

It has the potential to be revived as they honor their promise to one another when they participate in dance competitions.
